hi, i’m tracey
I write to make sense of the world, especially when the world doesn't make sense.
In fifth grade, I wrote a poem about what walking through the world as an ant must be like. I imagined there would be so much to fear—gigantic raindrops, roaring lawnmowers, feet falling from the sky—but I also imagined the fear would run out. Eventually, even an ant would walk along with the fear of nothing.
It's not much different for humans. In fact, that little poem explains my own journey through these parts as I tiptoed through the world, trying to find permission to write my heart out until I realized that I was the only person who could grant it.
Looking back, that little poem pretty much explains my journey through these parts as I tiptoed through the world searching for permission to be who I was becoming at all times—daughter, sister, teenager, young adult, copywriter, friend, graphic designer, creative director, wife, entrepreneur, mother, teacher, medium.
When I finally turned toward myself and the world of spiritual healing, I realized that I was the only person who could permit myself to be who I am at all times—temporarily human, permanently lighthearted. Nothing more. Nothing less.
I am a mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and confidante.
I hold space for women who are open to connecting with their higher power.
I prefer hiking boots over heels,
hugs over handshakes,
wine over tea,
truth over easy,
wonder over doubt.
I am the founder of Fork Over Love, a 501(c)(3) organization devoted to nourishing communities holistically.
I hold a Master of Arts in Advertising from SI Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Scranton. I am a certified Usui Reiki Master, Earth Medicine School shaman practitioner, and Open Heart Project meditation instructor.
The people I love most have taught me everything I need is tucked inside me.
You have everything you need tucked inside you, too.
