Find your pulse

She was starting to move to the rhythm of her own heartbeat. She noticed how easy this was. She wondered why it had taken so long to do this. To sink into this. To allow this. To embrace this.

She realized the sheer impossibility of moving to a beat outside of herself now. This metronome working to keep a perfect pulse—speeding up and slowing down on cue with her physical and emotional wellbeing. Pushing her a little, relaxing her more than she’d ever allowed herself to relax before.

And here it all was, built inside her skin since the beginning of Time. She began to wonder what else was here, begging, and not begging to be noticed. What else was here doing what needed to be done to sustain her soul on this plane?

The answer, this answer, was everything.
